After reading online about the risks about Wisdom Teeth pulls, it really scared me. Last night, I hardly slept, woke up every hr., had a total of about 3 hrs. of sleep, and dreamt about me getting it done. 12pm came and I'm in the office freaking out signing my life away and reading all the risk factors. I just wanted to get it over with.
So the nurse assists me and puts on breathing tubes into my nose, attached to my to check my blood pressure, and then the doctor comes in to put in the iv needle to hydrate me for the first 10 minutes. I can hear my heartbeat jumping then relaxing and jumping fast again. Just lying there I felt very lonely and so nervous. After that 10 minutes, the doctor returns and says he's going to inject the anesthesia. within 1 min. I start feeling it and the next thing I know I'm waking up from the entire surgery! I won't forget the warm fuzzy dizzy feeling before knocking out, it was like going into a dream. What felt like 5 minutes of sleep took an hr. of work. Woke up and it was just the nurse making sure my vital signs are normal. 3 times the machine started to beep out of control because my blood pressure was not getting enough air. So I had to take a few deep breathes to get it back to normal. Other then that, I felt just a bit drowsy and weak in the legs. Then my friend came to pick me up and drove me home. I'm starving and can only eat mushy things like porridge, apple sauce, yogurt, pudding, mashed potatos, and whatever else I can think of. So sad. Hope I lose weight though! Glad its finally over with. Now it's just the healing process and hope that goes well...
